Meet Our Team

Cheryl grew up in Red Wing and brings over 40 years of veterinary experience to BDAH. She graduated from the University of Minnesota-Waseca’s veterinary technician program in 1980 and has worked in Red Wing clinics her entire career. 

Her duties over the years have expanded to office management, but it is the pets and interactions with their owners that continue to make her work days enjoyable. She and her husband, Dave, raised 2 daughters and many pets through the years. She enjoys skiing, biking and hiking.

Jamie grew up in Indiana and moved to Red Wing in 1999 where her love for animals and helping people since an early age lead her to pursuing her Veterinary Technician degree from the Minnesota School of Business. Jamie brings a great deal of knowledge and skills to the hospital. 

She has worked in the Veterinary Field since 2003, including 6 years of Emergency Medicine. Jamie has a Yorkshire Terrier named Mack and a cat named Oliver. In her free time she enjoys cooking, gardening, being outdoors, camping, canoeing and spending time with family and friends.

Brianna was born and raised in Red Wing. She's always been around animals and grew up playing with all kinds of animal figurines. Her favorite shows were watching animal TV series and documentaries. She also loves Disney movies. Always had a passion for animals, and knew one day she would pursue a career in the field. 

Brianna has 2 golden retrievers (Lyla and Manuka) and 1 kitty cat (Renesmee). After hours she enjoys spending time with her husband Jason, playing with the girls, and taking them for walks. They also enjoy going on hikes, going to the MN Zoo, MN Wild games, and spending time with friends. Brianna enjoys seeing the bond between owners and their furry companions. She is very proud of this team and work family, especially the passion and empathy we show every single day.

Aliza grew up in Red Wing spending the majority of her time on her grandparents' hobby farm. She has always had a passion for all small and large animals since a little girl. Aliza lives in the country with her fiance Nate, 4 children, 2 dogs (Gertrude - Black Lab and Gretta aka Gwetta - Slovakian Rough Haired Pointer), and 2 indoor cats. She spends a lot of time at the hockey rink as a hockey mom in the winter and many days of summer riding in the cart on the golf course. She looks forward to her winter vacations and spending time outdoors during the warm months when she can. 

Aliza decided to return to her passion for animal care in 2018 and attended RCTC for Veterinary Technology. She graduated with an AAS degree in Veterinary Technology in 2020 and shortly after became a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She joined the Black Dog pack in 2020 and enjoys giving quality nursing care, educating clients, and booping all the pet noses throughout the day.
