Dr. Jennifer Scott-Dodd, DVM
Owner & Veterinarian
Dr. Jennifer Scott grew up in Indiana and moved to Minnesota in 2006 after meeting her husband Matt. She attended Purdue University. Dr. Jen resides in Zumbrota with her husband and children. They share their home with two German Shorthair Pointers, one Golden Retriever and three cats. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, camping, and spending time with her family. Dr. Jen's special interests include pet wellness, internal medicine and client education.
Dr. Chris Boyle, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Boyle grew up on a dairy farm in central Minnesota. She attended the University of Wisconsin at River Falls and received her DVM degree from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Boyle resides in Hager City, WI with her husband, Matt, and their three children. They share their home with a German Wirehaired Pointer named Finn and two cats named Alice and Arlo. Outside of work, Dr. Boyle enjoys running, cooking, gardening and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Boyle's special veterinary interests include surgery, dentistry, dermatology and client education.
Dr. Emmy Hartman, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Emmy Hartman was born and raised in Red Wing and is very excited to be back in her hometown. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. She practiced small animal medicine in the Twin Cities, Metro area for 11 years. Dr. Emmy joined Black Dog Animal Hospital the fall of 2019. Dr. Emmy's special interests include geriatric care, wellness, and client education. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters and cuddling their beloved companions, a spoiled mixed breed rescue pup and an entitled, dramatic cat who prefers to remain anonymous.
Dr. Nicole Brown, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Nicole Brown attended the University of Minnesota for her BS and DVM degrees and graduated in 2021. She lives with her husband Josh, two labradors (Opie and Otis) and two cats (Stanley and Oscar). In her spare time she enjoys hiking, skiing, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Brown’s special interests include preventative medicine and dermatology.
