Prevention is the key to a happy, long life for your pet. At Black Dog, we believe in addressing everyday health issues before they become problems. We tailor-make your pet’s wellness program, advising you on nutrition, exercise and behavior, and keeping your pet up-to-date on crucial vaccinations. We’ll talk about nail trimming, dental care, typical problems of particular breeds, allergies, skin irritations, and many other small, everyday matters that can turn problematic if not addressed. Together we’ll devise a realistic program that you can follow to maximize your pet’s good health.
General Services →
Despite your love and care, health problems still arise. So Black Dog Animal Hospital provides the gamut of general veterinary services. After a thorough physical exam, we determine what additional services are necessary. These may include radiology, microchipping, diagnostic testing, surgery, dentistry and geriatric healthcare. However, we do not provide emergency services beyond our regularly scheduled hours. Our staff will use that time off to rest and regenerate so that we may be at our absolute best for you during our office hours.
